den of dog is a 2-piece British Digital Fusion band composed of Olive Adams from Wokingham and Zak Langlois from Jersey in the United Kingdom. The duo formed in 2022 after meeting at a gaming tournament, sharing mutual admiration for video game soundtracks. The band’s current objective is less conformative to any specific genre or aesthetic but to present a playful and experimental approach to alternative music.

The band’s influences draw from Hideki Naganuma, Deftones, and Jockstrap, along with Zak’s interest in the sounds and styles of the Japanese rock scene in the 80’s and 90's - taking inspiration from artists such as Hide Matsumoto, and Tomoyasu Hotei, Number Girl, and Eastern Youth. Their unique brand of composition fuses hypnotic hooks and tightly folded harmonies, along with digital synchronicity to pay homage to the nostalgic era of the early internet.
Since the debut release "HOW COULD YOU", getting the band's music in front of the right sets of ears is proving an exciting challenge. Already familiar with the process of building a relatable and entertaining online presence, the duo are well versed in the unpredictable nature of social media and the advantages of building an online community. Olive and Zak have both been creating content online for several years with a combined following of roughly 80 thousand followers across their TikTok and YouTube channels.
DEBUT SINGLE - HOW COULD YOU
The debut single "HOW COULD YOU" by den of dog has recently earned the band radio interviews and airtime on BBC introducing Oxfordshire/Berkshire and the Channel Islands as track of the week. Alternate versions of the song are planned for release in the near future.
